What is a Connection Call for?
The Connection Call is a chance for you to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and get a feel for how coaching with me works. It’s not a coaching session. Rather, it’s a space for me to explain what coaching is about, answer your questions, and explore together whether it feels like the right fit before committing.
How is a Connection Call different from a Coaching Session?
A Connection Call is a free 30-minute chat to see if we’re the right fit to work together. There’s no pressure, just conversation. This call always comes first. If you decide to move forward, coaching sessions are then booked as part of a package.
Do I need to have clear goals before starting?
Not at all. Many clients come to coaching feeling stuck or uncertain about what they want. Part of our work together is creating the clarity to see what's possible and what truly matters to you.
I’m feeling nervous about starting coaching. Is that normal?
Yes, completely. Many people feel that way at first, especially if they’ve not experienced coaching before. The Connection Call is a gentle way to ease in. There’s no pressure, just a conversation to see how it feels.
How do coaching sessions and programs take place?
All sessions are online via Zoom. You’ll receive a link when you book, and we’ll meet from the comfort of your own space.
How long is each 1:1 coaching session?
Sessions are 50–60 minutes. Your package will include either 3 sessions, 6 sessions, or ongoing support depending on what you choose.
Do you work with clients outside of Australia?
Yes. Sessions are held online via Zoom. I offer a range of coaching times (Melbourne time) and can usually accommodate different time zones. We’ll confirm a workable time in the Connection Call.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Coaching packages can be paid either in full upfront or in two instalments: 50% upfront and the remaining 50% automatically charged later. This makes it straightforward, just two simple payments.
What happens if I need to reschedule a session?
Life happens, and I completely understand that sometimes you need to reschedule!
You can reschedule any session with 24 hours' notice, just reach out and we'll find a new time that works. If something urgent comes up with less than 24 hours' notice, the session will typically count as used, though I'm always open to discussing special circumstances.
I encourage you to use all your sessions within 6 months of purchase. This timeframe helps maintain your momentum and ensures you get the full benefit of our work together, rather than letting sessions sit unused.
How quickly will I see results?
Everyone's journey is different, and that's part of what makes coaching so personal. Some clients experience significant shifts right away, while others see steady change that builds over time. The key is showing up consistently and staying open to the process.
Is everything we talk about confidential?
Yes. Everything you share in coaching is treated as private and confidential. The only exception, as required by law in Australia, is if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if something needs to be disclosed for legal reasons. If such a situation ever arose, I’d discuss it with you first.
I’m not sure if coaching is right for me. What should I do?
It's completely normal to feel uncertain, that's exactly what the Connection Call is designed for!
This is your chance to explore what's on your mind, ask any questions you have, and get a real sense of how I work. There's no pressure to commit to anything. We'll talk about what you're hoping for, what coaching could look like for you, and whether it feels like the right fit.
If it doesn't feel right, that's valuable information too. I'd rather you feel completely confident in your decision than rush into something that isn't aligned for you.
